About
This illustration for International Women’s Day focuses on the crisis of missing women in Mexico and its deep impact on families and society. By showing a young boy searching for his mother, the piece reflects how these disappearances leave lasting emotional wounds across generations. Through thoughtful composition, color, and symbolism, the artwork evokes feelings of loss and longing while remaining accessible to a wide audience. Creating this project helped strengthen my ability to communicate complex social issues through visual storytelling, resulting in a work that functions both as a tribute and a call to action.
